Vit’i5 customer’s reviews

What pet owners think of Vit’i5 and our tailored made recipes.

Our 12yr old schnauzer has pancreatitis and 10 year old staffy has low grade cancer and lymphangiectasia (protein loss, life threatening), and we thought vet prescribed dry kibble was the right food to for their health and well-being. But out of desperation and after extensive research around home cooked food as medicine and knowing we needed vet guidance and supplements, and after making heaps of phone calls I finally found Dr Cindy Tan in Brisbane!

Dr Cindy has been incredibly helpful, quickly turning around custom diet recipes including vit’i5 supplement dosage (based on pet vet history) and also express posting us bottles of vit’i5 and providing thorough check-in points along the way to track how the dogs were going on their custom diets and the vit’i5.

Both dogs have absolutely flourished!

The staffy who was on the brink of death with severe diarrhoea, with protein levels at 9, increased his protein to 35 in just over a month (so at the high end of normal!) and went from food refusal to demolishing every meal and best of all, textbook healthy poops!

The schnauzer is also doing brilliantly; her pancreatitis will never go away but she now has textbook poops!

Please note that I have received a fair bit of pushback from traditional vets about going down the home cooked pet food path (very difficult for them to feel confident about the variables in home cooked versus the knowns in “premium” dry/wet commercial kibble) and I’m so glad that I went on this journey regardless (our staffy could have died if we didn’t stop the diarrhoea and food refusal, he was so sick, we had to try something!!!)

Dr Cindy’s support, writing of custom diets and supply of vit’i5 has literally saved our staffy’s life and given both dogs vital health and wellbeing. We cannot thank Dr Cindy and Dr Blanchard enough for bringing this fantastic custom recipe and vit’i5 supplement program to Australia – it is literally a lifesaver!

Many thanks x a million, Mel & her pups 🐶🐶
